PPA rheological masterbatch
PPA rheology modulators are functional masterbatches made by adding fluoropolymers and other additives to polyolefins as a carrier. They are mostly white granules in appearance, and the amount added is only 0.5%-2%. The core function is to reduce the viscosity of plastic melt, reduce processing friction, improve the surface finish of products, while lowering the processing temperature, increasing production efficiency, and reducing die buildup and product defects.
It is compatible with polyolefin materials such as LLDPE, HDPE, and PP, and is widely used in blown film (agricultural film, packaging film), extrusion (pipes, sheets), blow molding and monofilament and fiber production. It can also be used in masterbatch processing to accelerate color switching.
